Asconi Announces Preliminary Case Sales for the First Quarter of 2005; Case Sales Increase 27.3% From the First Quarter of 2004

ORLANDO, Fla., May 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Asconi Corporation (Amex: ACD - News), an Eastern European producer of wines and spirits, today announced that it sold approximately 580,400 equivalent cases(a) of wines during the three months ended March 31, 2005, an increase of 124,400 cases, or 27.3%, from approximately 456,000 cases sold during the three months ended March 31, 2004.
| (a) Asconi packages its wines in containers of various sizes. All quantities have been recomputed to the "equivalent case" measure. An equivalent case contains 12 bottles of 750 ml each. |
