Asconi Wines Receive New Awards

producers of wines and spirits, , is pleased to announce that it
has complemented its wine award collection with new trophies from
two recent trade fairs.
Asconi wines were awarded a gold medal and a bronze medal at Prodexpo
2004 exhibition in Moscow, Russia. The 1990 Marsala won the gold
medal and Muscat Asconi received the bronze. In addition, quality
awards were presented to 2003 Aligote, 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon and
the dessert Muscat Rubin. Prodexpo is the largest food and beverage
trade fair in Eastern Europe and the Russian Federation with over
2000 companies from 60 countries participating in the venue annually.
Participation in the Vinmoldova 2004 fair brought the Company five
silver awards for 2003 Aligote, 2002 Pinot Noir from Puhoi winery;
dessert 2002 Gold Moldova from Orhei Vin as well as 2003 Sauvignon
and 2003 Chateau Manuc Red from Vitis Hincesti.
Since 1999 Asconi wines have received 85 awards from professional
and trade fairs and exhibitions including 4 grand prix, 33 gold,
30 silver, 7 bronze and 11 quality awards.
