Orhei Vin Winery

Orhei-Vin belonging is located in the Codry zone of Moldova just like the other wineries of the Asconi Group . This is one of the oldest wine making enterprises of the country. Today Orhei-vin is experiencing its second youth. Splendid wine making traditions are being successfully supplemented with the technical novelties giving a modern approach with unique technology.

The grape processing of the winery capacity totals ten thousand tons per grape season. This is supplemented by almost 4.9 million gallons aging and storage facilities as well as bottling lines capable of producing up to 10 million bottles per year, with short term storage of 500 000 bottles.

Orhei Vin is one of the largest producers of Madeira type wines in the former Soviet Union. Output of strong white wines produced with special technologies has brought fame to the enterprise. Elegant amber coloring, compound rich taste with a shade of prunes and roasted nuts distinguishes such wines as Old Orhei, Caravela and Castle Orhei. These aged wines produced from the selected grape varieties Riesling, Rkatiteli, Aligote, Sauvignon are able to surprise and gourmet with their unique race, elegant festive coloring and rich flavor.
