Vitis Hincesti Winery

The Vitis Hincesti Winery comprises six grape processing, winemaking, bottling and storage facilities ensuring the complete production cycle from raw grapes to bottled wines. The main plant is located in the town of Hincesti about 28 kilometers (18 miles) south of Chisinau, the capital of or Moldova. The plant stands on approximately 4.8 hectares (12 acres) of owned land. The other locations are Bozieni, Mereseni, Stoliniceni, Caracui and Codru. They are all situated amongst the surrounding vineyards to ensure minimum time between the picking and the processing of grapes.

Vitis Hincesti wineries feature modern state of the art equipment including:

• 40 thousand ton per season grape processing capacity;
• 8.8 million gallon of aging and storage equipment;
• High capacity energy efficient filtration and stabilization equipment;
• 6,000 bottles per hour line, which can be used to bottle still wines as well as sparkling wines;
• 3,000 bottle per hour line used for standard bottles;
• 3,000 bottle per hour line used for smaller bottles distributed through hotel chains and restaurants.
